International
Internationally child protection policies and support are primarily undertaken by governments and large iNGOs, such as UNICEF and other UN agencies. Collectively they are working with an eye to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Combatting child sexual abuse falls under SDG 5.2 (eliminate all forms of violence against all women and girls in public and private spheres, including trafficking and sexual and other types of exploitation) and SDG 16.2 (which promotes to end abuse, exploitation, trafficking and all forms of violence and torture against children.)
